The challenge
The specification is only as good as the acceptance.
By delivery stage the client is usually the least technical party in the room. Systems are installed, a demonstration happens, snags are listed and handover is signed, often without anyone independently checking that the installation matches the specification or that the test results mean what they appear to mean.
Independent assurance closes that gap: witnessing the tests that matter, checking the as-installed position against the agreed design, and making sure the documentation, credentials and support arrangements exist before the contractor leaves site.
