The challenge
Consultancy and supply pull in different directions.
A consultant with nothing to sell can specify freely but cannot be held to delivery. A supplier with a catalogue can deliver but has an interest in what gets specified. Most clients end up choosing which of those risks to carry, and most procurement processes are designed around the assumption that they cannot have both.
The group structure separates the two roles without separating the accountability. Sysflex Technology Group holds the client’s outcome; Sysflex IT, AV and Security deliver the work. The client sees one coordinated position and one escalation route, with the specification and the supply recorded as distinct responsibilities.
